Investors have several immigration options in the USA. The investors’ long term goals and the amount of the investment will determine the proper immigration option for you.
My name is E. Audrey Glover-Dichter, and I help investors with the immigration process of investing in the USA under different investor visa programs. If you do not want to permanently relocate to the USA, there are immigration options for you to invest in the USA and travel frequently. These visas are called non-immigrant visas. The non-immigrant visas allow investors to invest in the USA on for a few years. The length of time the investor is allowed to be in the USA is determined by the visa program. This option gives cautious investors the opportunity to invest in the USA, while deciding whether to permanently relocate. If the investor decides to remain in the USA permanently, then he/she can apply for an immigrant visa. The immigrant visas allow the investors to invest and remain in the USA on a permanent basis.
There are many of types of non-immigrants visas that can be used by non-immigrant investors. This type of visa may be a good for an investor who already has a business abroad wanting to come into the USA market. Perhaps you have goods and services to export to the USA. Maybe you have been educated in a particular field in which your degree may be helpful to employers in the USA. Due to the variety of immigration options for investors, it is best to contact an immigration attorney such as myself to select the best non-immigrant visa for you.
Immigrant visas allow investors to invest and remain in the USA permanently. One well known such visa is the EB-5 or Employment Creation visa. Depending on the geographical area where the investment is made, the investment can be as low as $500,000.00 if such investment is in an economically depressed area based on government statistics. Otherwise, the law requires an investment of one million dollars. Either investment must yield at least 10 jobs for US workers. The EB-5 program offers a conditional Legal Permanent Residency for two (2) years. Before the two (2) years expire, the investor must apply to remove the condition by showing that the investment has been made and the jobs have been created.
For investors who do not have large amounts to invest or do not wish to make such sizeable investments there are other options to consider. During our initial consultation, we will review all the options available to you.
I have experience evaluating investor cases. Please allow me the opportunity to evaluate your investment in the USA giving you the benefit of over 20 years of experience as an immigration attorney. I can be reached at audrey@gloverdichter.com or (954) 450-1563.
