I-9 Compliance and E Verify
Are you an employer in the United States?
Has every employee who works for you filled out I-9 at the time of hire?
Have you verified the information on every I-9?
Are your I-9 files in order for an audit?
Immigration law requires that all employees file an I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification form the day they are hired. Employers are required to verify the information on such forms within three days as of the date of hire. There are numerous rules for employers to follow in order to be in compliance with the I-9 verification process and maintenance. The government can and does do inspections of employers work sites for I-9 violations, which can lead to great financial and criminal consequences.
I am E. Audrey Glover-Dichter and I understand how confusion the constant changing rules regarding I-9 employment verification can be. If you have questions regarding the proper processing and maintenance of I-9 forms, contact me at audrey@gloverdichter.com or (954) 450-1563.
